Norm Jen has been teaching Building Performance Institute (BPI) certification classes and administering certification exams for the past five years. He holds several BPI certifications and is a HERS rater. When not teaching, Norm is a principal at the Jenesis Group, a local builder and general contractor with over 20 years of building experience. Norm has overseen the construction of over 150 homes in Westchester, Putnam and Manhattan.
Dick has been in the home energy efficiency business since 1977 and founded the home performance company EnTherm in 1980. In 2001 EnTherm was the first company recruited into NYSERDA’s Home Performance with Energy Star™ program. EnTherm won NYSERDA’s Outstanding Performance in Home Performance award every year it was given between 2002 and 2006. Dick serves on the boards of the Building Performance Institute and Affordable Comfort, Inc. He is president of the board of the Building Performance Contractors Association of New York State.
